It looks like Sandown and Goodwood are going to get the lesser amounts that were forecast (see below) – so far, at least – but there is still more rain to come in the next 48 hours.
Just how much remains unclear.
Maybe not a lot now.
Much less than planned.
Goodwood’s Celebration Mile (3.10pm) has still cut up a lot, though.
No ante-post favourite Distant Storm, Shayem, Audience, Diego Ventura or any AOB runner to name a few no-shows.
No idea why.
Sergei Diaghilev is a NR in 3.30pm at Sandown.
